Today we are thrilled to announce Intel as the official headline partner for the second season of the British University Esports Championship.

We will be working with Intel throughout this year and beyond on a variety of student-focused grassroots initiatives. A major focus is promoting the development of the professional skills and building confidence in our future student leaders in the esports, games and technology industries.

Scott Gillingham, UK Gaming and esports Lead at Intel UK, had this to say:

“Intel is committed to the future of esports – which as well as creating new technology, means everything from supporting grassroots university leagues to hosting major tournaments and investing in the ideas, communities, and talent we believe in. That’s why Intel is proud to become the headline sponsor for NSE to help showcase new and exciting career paths for university students, and to show the world that esports is here to stay.”
