We’re thrilled to announce the British University Esports Championship Spring Finals will be held at BELONG Nottingham on the 6th and 7th of April where the victors of the seven Championships will be decided and the first ever ‘Esports University of the Year’ will be crowned.
For those not in the loop, the inaugural ‘Esports University of the Year’ title will be awarded to the university with the most points in the British University Esports Championship (BUEC) table. Teams competing in any of the seven Championship games are eligible to earn points for their university. The current BUEC standings are as follows:
In addition to the finals, we’ll be running a number of casual competitions each day including Rocket League Duos, CS:GO Wingman, LoL ARAMs and Pudge Wars. In addition there’ll be a Hearthstone Fireside Gathering and there’ll be fundraising activities for SpecialEffect.
The event is free to enter but you’ll need to sign up for a ticket here. Please note that spaces are extremely limited.

Are there ID or minimum age requirement to enter the event?
You won’t be required to show ID at the door, but you will to order any alcoholic drinks at the bar.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Train: The venue is a 12 minute walk from Nottingham Train Station.
Car: There is a multi storey car park on Stoney Street that is a 3 minute walk from the venue.
What can I bring?
No food or drink is to be brought into the venue. There is no cloak room so please avoid bringing bulky bags/coats.
