Monster Energy has been a massive part of UK university esports since our partnership began in 2019. We’re super proud to announce that Monster Energy and NSE have extended the partnership further in a multi-year renewal, continuing to fuel university esports for the coming years as our Official Energy Drink partner!
The much-loved community clip competition ‘Monster Plays’ will return and run alongside BUEC, showcasing the best talent in the university esports scene. Students will be able to submit their clips each week from their games in BUEC this spring and have the community vote for their favourite. Should you win you'll gain access to a year’s supply of Monster Energy, becoming the most popular person in your friendship group.
Students can also look forward to a refreshed tournament series supported by Monster Energy, and a range of new initiatives providing students with more opportunities to play coming soon. Monster Energy will also be present with NSE at the Insomnia Gaming Festival where NSE will have a dedicated area for the BUEC finals and its partners which also include Intel, UNiDAYS, SCAN, and DrayTek, with more partners to be announced soon.
