Intel FutureGen 2020 was originally designed as a series of three live events, each presenting an opportunity for the inaugural FutureGen cohort to learn from a group of senior industry leaders.
The health and safety of students and speakers is of paramount importance to us all and unfortunately, given the current circumstances, these events will no longer be taking place. However, we’re extremely excited to announce that the programme will now continue virtually as a regular weekly broadcast on Twitch.
Moving forward we'll be hosting six online sessions with senior industry figures during which students will be directly able to put forward questions and have their curiosity catered for. Each speaker will be drawn from a different area of the industry and will provide viewers with insight into the role they play in making things happen.
Recognising the current disruption to education programmes at every level, we decided to open these sessions to all students via the NSE Twitch channel. We believe this will bring huge benefit to all students with a keen interest pursuing a career in esports, gaming, or the wider technology sector.
To supplement the online sessions we’ll also be releasing a series of short videos recorded earlier this year in which our esteemed judging panel shared their leadership insights. You’ll also hear from the inaugural FutureGen cohort as they talk about their experiences.
To kick things off, here’s Helena Watson, Senior Publishing Manager at Riot Games.
