The Intel Monthly MVP is a community-driven award where students around the country can nominate their peers for their outstanding behaviours, activities, achievements and just generally going above and beyond within gaming and esports.
However this month we wanted to make an exception and nominate our own MVP, the winner is Kylie 'Lliandra' Kendrick. We picked Kylie as wanted to shine a light on the amazing work that she has been doing at Durham University for the entire esports scene there.
Here's a little extract of what Kylie means to the students at Durham:
"Kylie is a welcoming and hard-working person, with brilliant organisational skills and charisma that allow her to collaborate with Durham Esports Society and run the Durham Unity server, a place that provides a kind relief to those often marginalised in the gaming community - Musekek[Women and Non-Binary Officer]
Kylie has made running DUEG so much easier for us exec, whether it be assisting with general exec duties or providing great opportunities for the students here at DUEG I'm glad to have her alongside building up esports at Durham. - Cody [Vice President]"
We sat down with our MVP to have a chat about their time at Durham University and their journey through esports.
If you know of somebody who you think is an outstanding member of your community, for any reason, then please, nominate them for November's Intel Monthly MVP award - entries are open now! The winner will be awarded a swag bag of Intel goodies, including an exclusive Intel Monthly MVP pin.
Nominations close on Wednesday 15th November.
