As we wave goodbye to CS:GO before CS2 arrives, we teamed up with Intel UK to provide a student team with a once-in-a-lifetime VIP experience at IEM Cologne.

To win this trip, 65 students battled in the NSE CS:GO to Cologne tournament. After playing for a gruelling eight hours, the UWE Sea Stags (University of the West of England) were victorious and bagged themselves the ultimate prize.

Before heading out, Intel and Acer teamed up to send the team backpacks filled with Acer goodies and then it was time to head off to London Stansted Airport to make the trip to Cologne.

Arriving at the Lanxess Arena, the team were surprised with Intel God Mode tickets which gave them access to some insane perks like Intel's private lounge with some of the best seats in the arena to watch the games from. They also received ESL goody bags and a backstage tour of everything behind the scenes, from production to where the casters work.

When the team weren't watching the games, they went to the Intel tent to take part in some matches against CS:GO fans as well as another university team from Germany.

After a jam-packed weekend of watching IEM Cologne from incredible seats, taking part in some competitive matches, and receiving freebies and goodies, it was time to head back to the UK with the team taking some amazing memories with them. Massive thank you to Intel UK, Acer Predator and ESL for sending UWE Sea Stags to Cologne! Here are some of our favourite photos of the weekend:
