Celebrating University Esports With Monster Energy!

Monster Energy has been a massive part of UK university esports since our partnership began. We’re super proud to announce that Monster Energy and NSE have extended the partnership further, continuing to fuel university esports for the next academic year as our Official Energy Drink partner!

To mark the renewal of the partnership, we've released a highlights reel showing just a few of the best bits:

In addition to the British University Esports Championship (BUEC), Monster Energy provides students with more opportunities to play and supports esports and gaming societies across the UK. Thousands of Monster Energy cans have been distributed, helping them run their own events and recruit new sign-ups to their societies.

The much-loved Monster Plays clip contest gives students the opportunity to show off their skills with the hope of being rewarded with an exclusive Monster Black Card, giving them copious amounts of Monster Energy for a year. To win Monster Plays, students submit their best BUEC gameplay clips and the community then votes for their favourite. Also an NSE community staple, Monster Drops have become a key part of NSE’s live broadcasts as the community reacts to the action on our Twitch channel for even more Monster prizes.

NSE Unleashed, a social media competition that sees students show their love for all things Monster across their social channels, returns for another year. Students unleash their creative flair with Monster-themed entries ranging from CGI renderings to photomontages and even musical entries competing for top prizes.

This year, the BUEC Spring Final will be taking place at Insomnia Gaming Festival for the first time and Monster Energy will be there to keep the student esports community fueled throughout the weekend.
