We are thrilled to announce the Caster of the Term competition brought to you in association with Code Red Esports for our Spring Championship. It’s an incredible opportunity for those aspiring casters among you to gain event experience working with production professionals at the live finals in April.

The competition will have two main stages: the Submission stage and the Judging stage. The Submission stage opens on the 15th February and closes a month later on the 15th March. Any full time student may enter the competition during that period. The Judging stage will last between the 16th March and our live finals in early April. It begins with NSE deciding on a shortlist of six from all those who entered, announcing it on the 18th March. The shortlist will then be judged by Code Red Esports to decide who will be crowned “Caster of the Term”.

If you make the shortlist you’ll get to come cast our Spring finals at a live venue as well as net yourself a Snowball Microphone. Win the whole competition and you’ll also get an Elgato Stream Deck and something special we'll be announcing later into the competition.

How to enter:

Fill in the form linked above. Submit a link to VOD you want to enter, if it’s longer than 30 minutes please indicate the 30 minute slot you want to enter. E.g. Between 1:45 and 2:15 of a 3 hour stream.
Let us know a bit about you, which games are your favourites and which do you cast. This won’t affect judging - it’s for any write-ups we do on those who entered.
You may enter as a pair in which case you will both receive the full prize each should you win or make the shortlist.
