We are thrilled to announce the Caster of the Term competition brought to you in association with Code Red Esports is back for our Spring Championship. It’s an incredible opportunity for the aspiring casters among you.

"Winning Caster of the Term has opened so many doors for me - a masterclass with Redeye was an opportunity of a lifetime, and the support of NSE and Code Red has helped me commentate at 2 international LANs in 2019! Chances for grassroots talent to learn from the best are few and far between, so any aspiring caster should jump at this unique opportunity" - Jack 'wolfy' Saunders - Caster of the Term 18/19 Winner
The competition will have two main stages: the Submission stage and the Judging stage. The Submission stage opens on the 11th February and closes on March 22nd. Any full-time UK university student may enter the competition during that period. The Judging stage will last between the 23rd March and our finals in mid-April. It begins with NSE deciding on a shortlist of eight from all those who entered, announcing it on the 31st March. The shortlist will then be judged by Code Red Esports to decide who will be crowned “Caster of the Term”.
If you make the shortlist you’ll net yourself a Snowball Microphone. Win the whole competition and you’ll also get an Elgato Stream Deck and a masterclass with the one and only Paul 'Redeye' Chaloner.
Thanks to our partnership with Ubisoft UK, Rainbow Six Siege entrants will be shortlisted to four, all winning an Elgato Stream Deck with the top two going on to cast our Spring finals, with travel and accommodation paid for.

How to enter:
Fill in the form linked above. Submit a link to VOD you want to enter, if it’s longer than 10 minutes please indicate the 10 minute slot you want to enter. E.g. Between 1:45 and 2:15 of a 3 hour stream.
Let us know a bit about you, which games are your favourites and which do you cast. This won’t affect judging - it’s for any write-ups we do on those who entered.
You may enter as a pair in which case you will both receive the full prize each should you win or make the shortlist.
Please make sure:
To submit a VOD which is of an official UK university match (either league).
To submit no more than 10 minutes of footage.
