Welcome to the fourth instalment of our Championship announcements for the 2019/20 season of the British University Esports Championship. We’ve got plenty more announcements over the coming days so stay tuned!
Overwatch touches down again this Winter with the games starting on Thursday 17th October and repeating each Thursday afterwards. With a format designed specifically so that players of all skill levels can take part, everyone is welcome! Each week you face players with a similar win/loss record to you meaning closer and closer games as the term goes on.

Last Year’s Winter Term
Last Winter term saw over 80 teams take part in our first Overwatch tournament. By the end of the 7 weeks of competition two universities would stand above the rest — in Staffordshire and Durham. After a close back and forth series it would be the former who claimed victory 3 - 1 over their opponents. Not only did Staffordshire win the Winter tournament, they would go on to win the Spring one too so are very much the team to beat this term!
