Kent Esports is the official University of Kent Esports academy. It is home to some of the greatest university esports teams in the UK and represents Kent's best players across CS:GO, Valorant, League of Legends, and more.
We value competition and strive for greatness, but we also foster a strong community spirit and support each other in improving as players. Whether you're new to esports and want to pick up competitive gaming for the first time, or you're a chiseled veteran looking to put some trophies under your belt, there's a place for you in the University of Kent Esports Society.
Across the past three years, we've had top 3 finishes in the biggest university esports leagues every single year, with major contributions from our CS:GO, Valorant, and LoL teams. This is reflected in our Discord server's hall of fame channel, where we celebrate the achievements of the past, and inspire greater achievements for the future.
We host a number of in-house tournaments, including the famous Kent Champions event, where each of our major competitive games (CS:GO, Valorant, LoL, Overwatch, and potentially more) duke it out to see who truly is the best Kent has to offer. We also offer in-person watchalongs for some of the biggest professional esports tournaments. CS:GO Major? We're watching it! League World Champions? You betcha! VCT Masters? See you there! Just remember to bring snacks and a friend.
Inclusivity matters at Kent — winning is our primary goal, but not our only one; if you aren't wanting to compete at a high level and would rather meet some of our members for chill gaming sessions, we'd love to have you! Our community games include Pokémon, Fall Guys, Among Us, Dead By Daylight, Runescape, and more, and new members are the lifeblood of our society. You help fuel our community nights, and help cheer on our first teams to go deep in tournaments.
