Eligibility Criteria

  • All players must have a student or alumni NSE account.

Tournament Rules

  • All players should register on the NSE website by 23:59 on Friday, 3rd March. Late registrations may incur a Round 1 loss. No players may be added to the tournament once Round 1 has begun.
  • All players must also register and submit decklists including a side (maximum 15 cards) on Battlefy by 12:00 on Saturday, March 4. Links to the Battlefy event page will be provided via the tournament Discord.
  • Instructions regarding uploading decklists will be available on the tournament Discord.
  • The same deck and side deck must be used throughout the event.
  • You may swap cards between your main and side deck between games but must start each match with your original main deck.
  • All Swiss matches are Bo3 with siding.
  • All matches will have a strict 60 minute limit.
  • If the match is not concluded after 60 minutes, then the player who has the highest life points when time is called will be declared the winner of that game. The winner of the match will then be decided normally.
  • Players will have a maximum of 3 minutes between games to side.
  • All matches are to be played as an individual, without external support.
  • Slow play which is delaying the progression of the Swiss bracket or aiming to gain an advantage (such as not making any plays when they have higher LP) will be penalised.

Admin rulings will be guided by the Konami TCG Tournament Policy and the Master Duel Challenger Cup Player Booklet, if applicable (https://img.yugioh-card.com/ygo_cms/ygo/all/uploads/KDE-E_TCG_Tournament_Policy_2_1.pdf, https://docs.google.com/document/d/184VD2FAVvqcUj40vvcJF3kyh-MqE21qL/edit).
