SpecialEffect Charity Partner Update – Moving into 2022
SpecialEffect would like to tell you all the good news about our partnership together, moving on into 2022.

Esports and gaming societies across the country came together to raise money for SpecialEffect's GameBlast over the weekend of the 25th - 27th February 2022. Societies took over the NSE Twitch channel for 18 hours and we had a variety of streams from Mario Kart tournaments to Minecraft games. Thanks to everyone for donating and watching as we raised an incredible £557 for SpecialEffect!
University of Manchester Esports Society ended up raising the most money with a grand total of £145! As part of NSE's monthly society challenge, Socks for Socs, this won them a drop of co-branded Intel x NSE socks for their society.
