NSE returns to ESI London as a Strategic Partner
ESI London once again returns and we’re pleased to be supporting the event as a strategic partner!
last year
NSE travelled to BOXPARK Wembley to attend this year's ESI London esports industry festival from the 19th-20th of October. This year's event sported new additions to the already stacked schedule; such as the Women & Non-Binary Big Breakfast, Checkpoint, a networking event for content creators; and their Film Festival "Shine a Light on Stories Behind the Screens" which took place at BAFTA 195 Piccadilly! Beyond this, attendees could experience many great panels, roundtables and stalls run by industry professionals.
This September it was announced that NSE were strategic partners for ESI London 2023, this meant that we would be able to provide our students with a special discount, making the event more accessible to the next generation of the industry! Additionally, ESI provided our Intel FutureGen 2023 Cohort members free tickets to the event. We sat down with Cherrie Leung, one of the cohort members who attended thanks to ESI, and asked her about her time at the event:
Which of the panels stood out to you?
"The Women & Non-binary Esports Big Breakfast stood out the most to me. It was inspiring to meet passionate attendees from various backgrounds, gaining great insights into understanding how people have worked together to achieve an equal and inclusive environment in the esports and gaming industry."
What was your favourite moment at ESI London 2023?
"Playing a VR zombie outbreak game hosted by Zero Latency. Terrifying to be surrounded and attacked by zombies but fascinating to undergo how realistic VR experience is."
What would you like to see / see more of at next year's ESI London event?"ESI London provided participants a great grasp of understanding on the current ecosystem in the industry. Whilst it is lovely to learn from experienced confrère, it would be great to see how this can be conveyed to young talents who are dedicated to enter the industry."
